About the Project

The San Mateo County History Museum features colorful exhibits and interactive experiences that explore the county’s rich and colorful history. As a San Mateo High School graduate, Jeff was psyched to help this museum - a place he visited often as a kid!

In close collaboration with the Museum’s curatorial team, we worked to develop a new digital design system to better bring the exhibits to life in digital. Through discussions, we identified core users and their goals for interacting with the site. From there, we designed flows and visual systems that simplified and enriched their experience.
